2025 was one for the books for the Civil Service Club (CSC). From encouraging more intentional family time to creating inclusive spaces for young seniors and pets, CSC continues to shape itself as the place that brings everyone together. These milestones not only reflect our changing priorities but can also shape your goals in the year ahead. Here’s a quick recap on how CSC’s milestones can spark meaningful resolutions for the new year.

Making fitness stress-free with pickleball
After 2025, who hasn’t heard of pickleball? The paddle-racket hybrid sport rose to fame for its low intensity and beginner-friendly nature. You don’t need to seek out a large space to play and the rules are relatively similar to badminton and tennis, making it the best sport to kick off your 2026 fitness goals. To accommodate the high demand for pickleball courts, CSC launched 13 pickleball courts across all four CSC premises.
In the new year, pickleball can be more than just a one-off activity for you. Turn it into a weekly social workout with fellow members or set personal goals to improve your skills over time. Whether it’s a casual match after work or a weekend tournament with your loved ones, pickleball can make staying active feel effortless and fun. No matter if you’re in the west, central or east area, gather some loved ones and book a pickleball court for some fun!

Creating intentional quality time throughout the year through activities at the Club
In November 2025, CSC held its first-ever members-only Family Fun Day Out at the Singapore Zoo. Members and their families gathered for a day filled with exciting activities and games for all ages, giving them the chance to make the best memories together. With exciting prizes and delicious refreshments prepared, everyone had a good time together.
Although the school holidays are perfect for spending time with your loved ones, being together regularly can help strengthen the bond with your kids. Whether it’s a weekday dinner or an impromptu movie outing, quality time is best when it’s consistent throughout the year.
While waiting for updates on the next Family Fun Day Out for this year, keep a lookout for more family-friendly activities on our events page!

Finding new interests at any age
From supporting elderly parents and their children to facing rising costs of living, young seniors in Singapore face unique challenges as compared to other generations. While they’ve worked hard to stay afloat over the years, young seniors now face health concerns and even loneliness as they transition into semi-retirement.
CSC held its first-ever Majulah Active Day on 15 March to encourage and uplift young seniors to develop healthier lifestyles. Along with their families, they tried out new wellness-focused interests, such as mass workouts and cooking demonstrations, that can be practical in their daily lives. More than just a day of activities, the event created a welcoming space for young seniors to reconnect with one another and rediscover new interests while being reminded that staying active is more than just physical health.
For young seniors looking to kickstart their 2026 with a new interest, CSC has a range of activities and facilities designed for both wellness and connection. Whether it's attending wellness talks with your friends or signing up for a ballroom workshop to bond with others, make the most out of every moment with CSC.

Making cherished memories with your furkids
For pet owners, that familiar pang of guilt sets in the moment we step out for a getaway without our fur kids. Whether it’s a short gathering or an overnight stay, leaving them behind can cast a shadow on any getaway. In 2026, skip the wallowing and bring them along for an adventure with CSC’s dog-friendly chalets – where you and your furry companion can unwind, explore and make memories together.
With the success of the dog-friendly chalets at Loyang, we will be launching pet-friendly chalets at CSC @ Changi II to include more kinds of pets for more exciting staycation and gathering options. Book your stay with us here and get ready to have fun with your fur kids!

Adding a playful touch to your experiences
In 2025, CSC collaborated with local artists to give our activities a touch of whimsy. One of the earlier collaborations, Eda from Pat That Phat Cat, designed and produced merchandise such as stickers for the Family Fun Day Out and social media posts. With chonky cats as their muse, Pat That Phat Cat brought fun visuals of cats enjoying CSC’s facilities that appeal to all animal lovers (including us!).
To get a feel of CSC @ Changi, we welcomed Jun Sheng of meetmito for a quick getaway. Mito, a little green blob, and his friends were the stars of the show. In a short time, Mito and friends got a taste of the activities and vibes at CSC @ Changi. Whether it was spending time by the pool or having a feast, Jun Sheng gave a glimpse into what members could experience. With collaborations like these, CSC hopes for everyone to feel the vibrancy of our clubhouses and spread the joy with their loved ones through the eyes of our local artists.
If character collaborations are your thing, anticipate our upcoming collaboration with Ang Ku Kueh Girl and Friends for the CSC Lunar New Year Bazaar! Look forward to a limited-edition red packet set featuring Ang Ku Kueh Girl as well as bazaar activities such as a meet-and-greet session with Ang Ku Kueh Girl and a storytelling session with Wang Shijia, the creator of Ang Ku Kueh Girl! More exciting activities in the east and the west
To wrap up the year on a festive high, CSC brought the holiday spirit to life with the annual Christmas Market, held across two weekends at CSC @ Changi and CSC @ Bukit Batok. The free-for-all event transformed our clubhouses into vibrant hubs of seasonal cheer, offering visitors a variety of activities. Attendees browsed through a delightful array of handmade crafts, festive cookies and unique seasonal gifts, with plenty of stalls catering to all ages and interests. Shoppers also had the chance to participate in an instant lucky draw and receive an exclusive goodie bag as a special festive treat.
The markets weren’t just about browsing and buying—there was a lively, celebratory atmosphere that drew families and friends to come together to round off the year with plenty of holiday cheer. With even more activities and experiences lined up (especially for those in the east and west!), there will be more ways to connect with the community and have fun with CSC within the vicinity of your neighbourhood.

Learning to live more sustainably
The House of Melissa Evelin (HOME) was launched in March 2025, born out of a collaboration between CSC @ Changi and The Sundowner, a nature experience centre that offers interactive ecological workshops. At HOME, guests can immerse themselves in eco-conscious activities like sustainable beekeeping, exploring a permaculture garden, kombucha brewing and a hands-on woodfire pizza-making experience using ingredients from the garden. Each experience encourages a deeper appreciation for the environment and shows how sustainability can be adapted into our everyday lives.
For some in the new year, a fresh year calls for new changes in their sustainability goals. When we’ve already maxed out on saving energy at home or reusing our eco-bags, sometimes nature is our best teacher. Spending time outdoors helps us to reconnect with the environment we’re protecting, and turn our habits into lived experiences for the nature. Guests can look forward to an immersive farm stay experience, with farm-to-table dining with ingredients from the permaculture garden and kayak expeditions along the Changi Creek. Once night time falls, guests can unwind with an outdoor movie with the stars, making it the most memorable, eco-friendly staycation.
If you wish to add this unique, nature-inspired retreat to your to-do list in 2026, book your stay here.
